All families deserve the best care during pregnancy. That’s why we offer childbirth education and doula services on a sliding scale, based on what you feel you can afford. We are happy to discuss pricing options and payment plans with each family.
Pregnancy Doula
For a lot of people, the concept of a Doula is a very new thing. Often, women don’t have built-in family support. A doula can fill the gap for mom by providing knowledge, compassion and practical support during this very important childbearing year.
Support later in pregnancy can be especially helpful if you are a single or teen mom, have multiple children, are on bed rest, or have severe morning sickness. Full Moon’s Daughter will provide informational, emotional, physical and practical support during your pregnancy with massage, meal planning, education, labor preparation and anything else you need.
Pregnancy Doula Care is offered for a 4 hour minimum for $25 – $30 per hour.
Labor Doula
Continuous physical, emotional and informational support before, during and just after birth is part of your Labor Doula package. Full Moon’s Daughter will assist with birth plans, pain coping techniques, pregnancy, postpartum diet and fitness designed to ease labor and recovery, Reiki healing, creative expression and relationship / birth help. This time is all about you and what works best for your family.
Labor Doula care includes two prenatal visits structured to get to know each other and provide education, support during the entire labor and birth, and one postpartum visit designed to assist with newborn care and time to help integrate your birth experience. This care package is $800 – $1,000. Additional visits are $30 per hour.
Natural induction visits can include counseling, aromatherapy, flower essences, acupuncture, homeopathy, visualizations, Reiki, movement, diet and practical advice.
Private childbirth education can be included in the Labor Doula package for an additional fee. Please contact Full Moon’s Daughter to discuss pricing options based on what you want to learn in these sessions. Each session will be customized to what you want to learn.
Postpartum Doula
Postpartum support can help ease your path into motherhood. Full Moon’s Daughter offers lactation consulting, infant care techniques, C-section recovery, meal planning and cooking, gentle yoga and exercise options, natural healing, light housekeeping, dog walking, nanny and overnight care and companionship for mom.
Postpartum care is offered for a minimum of 4 hours for $25 – $30 per hour. Overnight rates are $20 – $25 based on a minimum of 9 hours.
