I can’t rave enough about Campbell Studio in the SE. They were offering free portraits for business owners last month, so I went thinking that maybe it would be a little better than the Sears pictures my mother used to make me sit for. This blew my mind.
Their studio is located on SE 16th, right off Tacoma in a beautiful craftsman-style Portland home. Aside from the warm and comfortable interior, their entire backyard is a walled courtyard set up with different background options! It was awesome. Picking an orange painted wall for my first sitting, Kim Campbell put me right at ease by chatting and asking me lots of questions that made me smile.
After several pics there, we decided to try the green metal wall as a background. She found me a stool to sit on and was clicking away while balancing a light shade contraption, something only a mother could pull off successfully.
